we are an invite-only celeb gpsl but since we do things a little differently here than you might be used to, we’ve put together a quick overview of how to join and stay in the entourage!

all members of entourage are required to observe and respect the personal boundaries and consent of others in all interactions within the community. harassment will not be tolerated and members found in violation of this rule will face permanent removal from the community. this rule applies to all forms of communication and interaction within entourage.

all applicants need to have a visible friends only and screened post (both of which can be friends locked after being added). applicants also need to request membership to the subcomm before they can be added. if you’re a returning member who is coming back after an extended period of time, please also remember to clear your friends list. we reserve the right to reject any applicant if we feel they are not a good fit for the group. newly added members must run the friends button within 72 hours of being added or they will be subject to removal.

update 01/2024: we are repealing the restriction on celebrities serving in or enlisting in compulsory military service. starting from 01/01/24, we will now accept applications from celebrities on military hiatus.

once a member is accepted, we will add you to our official entourage group chat. this chat is the main form of communication within the group where members and mods will post announcements, activities, and events, on top of the usual daily conversation. while it’s not mandatory to participate in the group chat, it is the group’s only method of announcing adds and removals. for these reasons, it is highly recommended to be a part of the official group chat. however since it’s not required or monitored, and doesn’t count toward a member’s monthly or weekly activity requirements, you are free to come and go as you like. all members have admin powers to add/remove current members freely but we ask that members do not add any new members until they’ve officially been added to the taken list and do not change the chat name.

members are required to run the friends button at least once every seven days - this is known as the “weekly requirement”. anyone with a friends list more than a week out of date is subject to removal. members are also required to complete one monthly activity (options below) before the 1st of the following month. new members added after the 23rd are exempt from that month’s monthly requirement but everyone is obligated to meet the weekly requirement regardless of when they were added. the monthly activity status of every member is tracked in our member directory.

update 08/2023: if requesting a hiatus during the last week of the month that will last longer than 7 days, you must fulfill your monthly requirement before the hiatus will be granted.

if you are removed for missing the monthly requirement, you will need to post an update in your journal before you can be readded.

monthly requirement options
update: this can be any post of any kind within your own journal or the subcomm. the post needs to be visible on the friends page (no backdating) and comments must be enabled to count towards the requirement. there’s currently no word count requirements for updates and mods will track this in the directory
OR
comment: members need to comment at least five (5) different posts (which can include the f/os of any new members added that month) to meet the requirement this way. you may also post in ~rps, which can count for one of your five comments. you will also need to drop those links off in the member post of the mod journal so we can update the directory.

birthday bonus option
for the month of your birthday, members receive a special birthday option. simply comment any birthday post made in your honor and you’ll be set for the monthly activity requirement. your birthday needs to be listed in the directory to take advantage of this option so make sure to comment with your birthday prior to the special day so we’re aware and we’ll take it from there!
